Phears and Moldovan is a multi-specialty firm located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Since its inception in 1985, the firm has established a reputation for its ability to successfully handle Large Scale, Complex Litigation and Complex Transactional matters.  The firm’s experience in litigation enables it to advise clients effectively on strategies to avoid litigation, including the use of well-drafted, thoroughly researched business documents such as employment contracts, partnerships agreements, contracts for the purchase or sale of assets and stock, leases, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

Firm founder H. Wayne Phears was born in Hannibal, Missouri in 1947.  He earned a B.A. in 1969 and a M.S. in Economics in 1971 from the University of Missouri. Mr. Phears received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University, in 1974.  While in law school, Mr. Phears was a member of the Order of the Coif, a member of the George Washington Law Review (1973-74) and co-author of “Federal Trade Commission: Developments in Advertising Regulation and Antitrust Policies,” 41 George Washington Law Review 880, 1973.   He has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1974. Mr. Phears’s areas of expertise include Land Use and Zoning, Antitrust, Construction, and Commercial/Business Law.  Mr. Phears is a frequent speaker and author on various topics, including zoning & land use.

Victor L. Moldovan was born in New York, New York in 1961.  He earned a B.A. from New College of the University of South Florida in 1982 and a Juris Doctor from Emory University in 1985.  While earning his J.D., Mr. Moldovan was a member of the Moot Court Society.  He is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia as well as the Administrative Law Section, the General Practice and Trial Section, the Local Government Section, and the Real Property Law Section of the Georgia Bar.  Mr. Moldovan’s areas of expertise include Commercial Litigation, Plaintiffs Litigation, Commercial/Business Law, Commercial Real Estate, and Federal and State Regulatory Matters
